I’ve been pondering a lot on whether there is a division now between blogs and websites? There is a distinction of course, but some blogs are now indistinguishable from websites, being used for information, brand building and even e-commerce. Websites now incorporate blogs where they once had a ‘news’ section. Developers soon worked out that blogging software makes for fast and easy CMS solutions, building websites with WordPress and Drupal etc.
My guess is that in the very near future the boundaries will be blurred totally and there will just be varying flavours of one thing – question is, what will we call it?
